+2500 km behind me and about the same distance ahead of me and what a journey it has been already!
I'm on my second tandem bicycle since the first one broke down after 500 km and on the current one almost everything's been replaced by now as well.
But that really is ok because all the problems were the start of a beautiful story. Every single time there were people ready to help me out.
People offered tandem buddies and me food, shelter, drinks, beds, lifts, technical assistance, guidance,... and always with a big smile and without asking for any money.
My believe that people in general have the best intentions only got stronger during this challenge. It really is ok to talk to a stranger. Do it with a big smile and opportunity will knock and doors will open.
