Places in Mitte
Mitte is German for Center. Many businesses have an office here and it's the area where Berliners mainly go to work. There are many iconic buildings in this area so definitely an area you have to visit when in Berlin.View Social Travel Map Western Europe in a larger map
Places in Prenzlauer Berg
Quite and lovely area with a zen vibe. I noticed that the area is really laid back and a perfect place to just enjoy a nice stroll, a coffee at the many cafés around.View Social Travel Map Western Europe in a larger map

Places in Kreuzberg
Yeah baby Yeah this is Kreuzberg! Friedrichshain isn't the place to be anymore. It's Kreuzberg now. At least that's what the Kreuzbergers will tell you. There's a nice rivallery going on between these 2 areas. Still figuring out which one's the coolest ;-)View Social Travel Map Western Europe in a larger map
Places in Neukölln
Shooting star Neukölln. This are is in the process of some serious gentrification. I just learned this word by living here and it basically means that middle class and yes of course cool people move to an area and make prices rise. Basically all over Berlin prices are rising but in some areas, like this one, it just goes a bit faster. I'm living here at the moment and it's an awesome area to be in. Very laid back, nice people and a Kick-ass old airport that they turned into a huge public park. Must visit when you are around ;-)View Social Travel Map Western Europe in a larger map
Places in Wedding
In the north and completely opposite side of Neukölln there's the Wedding area. Also some serious gentrification happening here. I was introduced to the neighbourhood by Michael and his group of friends and I just love the area.

Places near Tiergarten
The region around Tiergarten has some really nice places to discover. First of all, the part is HUUUUUUGE and a great place to get lost in on some sunday afternoon.

ReplyDeleteHeey Bjorn!
Veel plezier in Berlijn!!!
Cool! Thx Annelie.
