Bird watching in L'Estartit, Catalunya

You know, all these missions I tackle on 'Destination Challenges' are always a surprise for me and every time I'm amazed that they keep coming up with new and original things.

In L'Estartit my mission was to spot 2 birds: 'The Kentish Plover' and the 'Great Tit'. Luckily I had Jordi from Camping Castell Montgri with me. This man knows just about anything there's to know about birds and he's also a lot of fun to be around... :-)

Today in #Lestartit I went in search for 2 little birds, the 'Kentish Plover' & the 'Great tit' and also the Mediterranean Monk seal. Luckily I had Jordi from @campingcastellmontgri by my side to point my binoculars in the right direction 😊 The #aiguamollsdelemporda are an iconic wetland in #Catalunya and home to a big variety of migratory birds so the perfect spot to look. #CatalunyaChallenge #InCostaBrava #DestinationChallenges with @CatalunyaExperience #CatalunyaExperience

I found the Mediterranean Monk seal at that pool of @campingcastellmontgri. 😎 Clearly it's a statue but it's a reminder of the times you actually found these beautiful creatures on the coast of #CostaBrava.
