Exploring Odsherred on a scavenger hunt

In Odsherred Carina and I had to find 3 different landmarks based on a few hints.

I always love a good scavenger hunt and definitely in a unique place like Odsherred. It's surrounded by seas West, East and North which give it a big diversity of landscapes to enjoy.

#DenmarkChallenge mission 5  The #Odsherred region will be the playground for our next mission and we absolutely NEED YOUR HELP for this one.  It's all about the pictures you find in this post. Scroll ahead 😉 🇩🇰 We need to find the name of the artist of the painting, WHERE he painted it from, WHAT we see and WHAT the building is in the left corner. In reality it's white not red as seen in the painting. 🇩🇰 The 2 following pictures are connected and share HISTORY together. 1. Dragsholm Castle

#DenmarkChallenge story in #Odsherred: It's from more or less this spot on the #Bjergsøe hill that John Thomas Lundbye painted his 'Sjællandsk Landschap'. The building behind me is also in his painting and it's called #dragsholmslot. It's Dries De Kimpe on Facebook that cracked the puzzle. Very impressive I have to say since we only had a painting to go on! We obviously had to go and check out the castle 😉 #DestinationChallenges

2. Geokids

Found this little guy and his friend in #Veddinge. Made by #Geokids and on a brand new #hiking trail connecting historically and geologically significant spots in #Odsherred. Let's go for a walk shall we 😉 #DenmarkChallenge #DestinationChallenges in #Denmark

Such a perfect day for a walk. 🌳🚶 From #Veddinge I followed the hiking trail to #Esterhøj which connects the 2 places. It brought me to one of the highest parts of #Odsherred and also a historically significant one... #DenmarkChallenge #DestinationChallenges in #Denmark

3. Esterhøj

Here to stay: The rock on top of the hill in #Esterhøj. It is put there after the reunification of Southern #Jutland with the rest of #Denmark and from there you have a magnificent view on the coast line. 📷 @travelrunplay #DenmarkChallenge in #Odsherred #DestinationChallenges
