Discovering the local delicacy 'Curiles' on Tiger Island in Honduras

My last Destination Challenges in Honduras brought me to a stunning volcano island called Isla del Tigre also know as Tiger Island where I discovered a local delicacy called 'Curiles'.

It's a tiny mussel that you can only eat for 24 hours after its catch. You usually share a plate with friends on the beach and have an ice cold beer on the side ;-)

The perfect way to end this fantastic adventure in Honduras...

Meet Liza! She invited me for a night in #Tegucigalpa with her friends and the story on how we met is quite funny I think. I was just exploring the city a bit and then later went for lunch.
