In search for a medieval fairy tale like town in Germany? Look no further!
Quedlinburg is the place to be ;-)
It's here that I kicked off my Destination Challenges in the Harz region.
On arrival I got a bunch of questions that I needed to find the answer to in this cute little town...
Here are the questions:
- What's the statue on the left side of the city hall called?
- What's the stone type of the St Blasii church?
- What figure can be found on top of the waterfountain in front of the St Blasi church?
- What did Henry, duke of saxony do at the Finkenherd?
- What kind of animals can be found at the North East entrance of the Saint Servatius church?
- 1300 of these type of houses can be found in Quedlinburg. What are they called?
- Which declaration did the Saint Servatius church and the old town of Quedlinburg get?
If you like quizzes feel free to try and find the answers yourself ;-).
I'll share the answers further below.
In the meantime you can watch this HYPERTOUR of quedlinburg
