Dean and I met in Nha Trang. I sat down next to him after just arriving in town and we started talking. I explained him about my challenge and he told me that he already heard about it and that he'd love to join from Nha Trang to Hoi An. So after a few days of exploring Nha Trang we left on a tandem bike adventure that we'll never forget...

WANTED: Social Brands & Companies.
Currently I'm tackling the hardest challenge I ever got. I'm cycling +5000 km from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong on a tandem bike with whoever feels like joining me on the bicycle. I call that a Tandem Buddy. The journey takes me across Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam & China. Along my trajectory I support 5 small charities, 1 in every country.
My current Status
I'm in Cambodia at the moment and I have a bit more than 2000 km, 2 bicycles, 2 countries, 2 charities, 8 tandem buddies, 15 flat tires, 6 broken chains, 25 bicycle shops, and countless amazing experiences behind me :-)
People have been part of my social travel adventure for already 2 years. They guided, joined, invited, me. Introduced me to friends and families and helped me during many challenges.
Recently also brands and companies started to become part of my social travel adventure.

Leaving Sihanoukville.
I've been recharging my batteries on Otres beach and having a great time with the people staying at Moonlight rock. Wish I could stay at this paradise beach forever but it was time for me to start moving again. I met Perrine and Jennifer, 2 lovely Belgian sisters and they decided to join me to Phnom Penh.
They decided to buy an extra bike and join me on a little adventure.
Off we went with big smiles on our faces and oh yeah, it only took about 10 km before I got my first flat tire...

Cycle for Charity!
Help me raise money for the charities I support.
At the moment I'm tackling my latest challenge: Cycling +5000 km from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong on a TANDEM bike (Click here to read all about it).
During this challenge I want to raise money for the 5 different charities I'm visiting along my trajectory.
By now I visited 3 out of 5 charities...

[Video Diary] From Kuala Lumpur to Penang with Ana. The start of my Tandem Bike Challenge.
My tandem adventure started in Kuala Lumpur with a lovely Brasilian girl called Ana. She cancelled her flight back home to join me on a tandem bike ride to Penang. I couldn't have wished a better person to start this adventure with. Ana was super flexible, adventurous, always positive and a fun person to have around.
But why don't you see for yourself how we did...
