A slice of Yellow on the road

Loved the shoots with this Canary yellow Westfalia rockstar. She's a natural :-)

Moments in New Brunswick

-->

New Brunswick is the only bilingual province in Canada and has a strong French and British heritage that clearly shows across the province. I had an amazing time cruising over glowing hills and winding roads.

Captured in Shediac

View from a lobster boat in Shediac

Loved shooting the Lobster capital of the world.

On a Lobster Role in Shediac

I made it in time still to Shediac for the Lobster 'cruise' I was invited for by Rose. She was accompanied by Rosie, a UK journalist and her son Lucien from London. Mother and son on an adventure across New Brunswick together. Beautiful!

Running out of gas on a Canadian Highway

Is not as bad as it sounds. Here's what happened...

Highland Games in Fredericton

When I drove into Fredericton I passed some tents with Scottish flags and a Highland games banner.
I've never saw anything like it before so I decided to park the car and go have a look. I found myself a spot in the grass and took it all in.
It was a beautiful afternoon with loads of competitions going on.
Blowpipe bands were marching the grounds, there were strong men throwing metal balls and tree trunks (seriously!), there was haggis, traditional dancing and loads of guys wearing kilts.
I hope to get my hands on one of those one day and yes I'll wear it like tradition requires. :-)
Turns out there's a big community of Scottish in New Brunswick and year after year they celebrate that with friends and family.
You travel, you learn ;-)
