Canada road trip: Nova Scotia 📸 Favorite Instagram photos

Here's an overview of my favorite Instagram photos from Nova Scotia shot on my Canada road trip.

The glowing landscapes and the dramatic cliffs on Cape Breton make it not so hard to understand why Scottish people decided to settle here and call this part of Canada their home. They brought the love of golf and music with them and also didn't leave their welcoming and warm nature behind.

Truly a wonderful and musical part of Canada.

Sea Kayak

• Kayaking with the Eagles • #tstStories On arrival in Nova Scotia I drove directly to #NorthRiver on the famous Cabot trail. I was invited there by Angelo, a kayaking guitarist whom started North River Kayak over 20 years ago. Never kayaked a lot before so it was great to get some explanation about the boat and how to peddle before we hit the river. We followed it direction ocean which is close to the dock. This results in a mix of fresh and salt water which attracts all kinds of fish and which in his turn then attracts Eagles. Angelo pointed out 3 nests and we saw them circling above or heads almost the entire time. Impressive creatures! We went to a little beach for breakfast and from there we gradually made our way back. Peddling, chatting and enjoying the views. A great way to start the day! Back at the dock Angelo sat down with me and taught me the blues routine and one of his songs. Yup. He's writing his own music and played gigs in different countries. You can discover his music at www.spinazzola.ca I'll upload the video of us playing after this post ;-) What a great welcome to Nova Scotia. • #tstCanada with @explorecanada & @visitnovascotia • #tstGuitar with @gibsonguitar • #tstGoPro with @gopro • #ExploreCanada #VisitNovaScotia #Gibson #GoPro • #SocialTravel #Travel #Canada •
